Featured Prenup: Thea & Nicolo

College sweethearts Thea and Nicolo had three set-ups for their prenuptial shoot. While they didn't intentionally zero in on one particular theme, the couple and their team came up with photos that stirred nostalgia.

Thea and Nicolo started off by shooting at one of One Serendra's gardens--a good spot for a colorful picnic-themed set. The first set was a salute to retro things, as the couple posed with props from yesteryear: an old camera, books, a typewriter, and authentic vintage luggage which they borrowed from Nicolo's mom. Posing with a miniature toy car and their stuffed bear (which they named Padingtun) also allowed Thea and Nicolo to bring out their inner child. To shake things up, the couple opted for a more grown-up feel for the shoot's second leg. They switched to classic outfits and accessories (Thea wore a shift LBD and Nicolo wore a striped shirt and slacks) and posed against more subdued sets.

While shooting outdoors gave Thea and Nicolo more options, the overcast skies that day got them worried. However, the couple's photographers turned out to be real troopers, and they were prepared for any hitches during the prenup session.

For the third set, the couple and their team initially planned to shoot along Bonifacio Global City's closed streets. Unfortunately, they didn't have a permit to shoot there. Despite the fact that they were running behind schedule, the team was undaunted--they improvised. They found a spot in a nearby parking lot and just had a guerilla shoot.

The photographers from Emacs Photography decided not to use a flash so as not to attract attention from security. Instead, the photographers used their cellphones to cast just enough light over the couple. Evidently, things do have a way of turning out for the best--in the end, the photos exceeded what Thea and Nicolo expected.
