Featured Wedding: Gladys & Eric

Shutterbugs Gladys and Eric decided that on their wedding day, they would pay tribute to love--not just their love for each other, but their shared love for photography as well. Back in college, Gladys took a photography class and Eric accompanied her whenever she had photography assignments. Because photography was one of the things that brought them together, it made sense for them to show their appreciation for it during their wedding.

The couple chose to tie the knot in Magallanes Church partly because of its structure--the arches formed by the roof can be interpreted as the focus rings of a camera lens, tying the church in perfectly with their theme. Photography was incorporated into the smaller wedding details as well. Their wedding monogram was a stylized camera aperture, and their cake had a camera topper. Also, the table names were printed on photos that Gladys and Eric took. Each of their wedding rings even resembled a camera's focus ring!

The little photography details included in their theme charmingly emphasized the love--and shared interests--of the two shutterbugs, which made their wedding a picture-perfect celebration.
