Ira and CJ's nontraditional love story reached a very important point when they decided to tie the knot without any formal proposal from CJ. The couple decided to have a modern Moroccan-themed wedding, which fit their complementing personalities and showed how strong love can be, even without all the bells and whistles.

The bride wore a one-shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline. The flounces on the skirt added texture and volume to the dress.

For the bridal bouquet, blue hyacinths were layered on top of gypsophilia flowers. Flat leaves looped around the blooms gave the bouquet an interesting contrast of textures.

For the big day, the groom wore a black suit with a dark gray vest and a white tie. His blue boutonniere added a playful pop of color to his attire.

The boutonnieres, made with a spray of blue hyacinth with gypsophilia tied with blue and white polka-dotted ribbon, matched the flowers of the bridal bouquet.

The flower girls' dresses were blue sleeveless frocks with beading around the neck and a gray sash tied around the waist.

The missalettes featured the same gray and tiffany blue damask pattern that was on the invitations.

Moroccan lamps and candles floating in colored water were used to decorate the table, to give the reception a distinctly modern Moroccan feel. No flowers were used for the decorations.

The couple gave away herbs in cocofiber pots, which they found in Laguna. Each plant was tied with a personalized ribbon and had a label with a short description of the herb and its use.
