Each reception table was decorated with a DIY wooden birdcage. Each cage had Styrofoam birds inside and was nestled in a round of roses.

Instead of a traditional tiered cake, the couple opted for a tower of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.

Jeanie & Gian: Guestbook Alternative

Instead of having a traditional guest book, the couple opted to ask their guests to write down their wishes and messages on pieces of paper placed inside bird guest boxes, which were personally designed by the bride with the use of cardboard boxes, Styrofoam birds from Bangkok, organza ribbons, silk flowers, glittery fruits, sinamay and dried straw.

Guests wrote their messages for the newlyweds with the use of colored pencils provided by the couple.

The couple gave their guests Candy Corner bubblegum and blueberry flavored jellybeans placed in plastic tubes tied with organza ribbons and tagged with the couple's names.
