Steph and Sherwin share a fondness for the sweet and simple things in life.

They first got to know each other as phone pals and then met at a barkada badminton game. The two started going out, and eventually, when Sherwin asked Steph to be his girlfriend, Sherwin chose a simple yet memorable proposal. He brought her to a breathtaking spot in Boracay, where they watched the wonderful sunset.

When Sherwin popped the question, it was no surprise that he kept things simple, sweet, and straight from the heart. He first treated Steph to her favorite ice cream bar, and then brought her out to the playground. After the couple shared some laughs, hugs, and kisses, Sherwin presented a ring in a heart-shaped box--and Steph said yes!

In keeping with their preference for simple and sweet things, the couple had a wedding that was unfussy but was filled with a lot of love.
