Established in June 1992, Dragon Fireworks was established to cater to the Philippine market's demand for safe, world-class, quality fireworks and pyrotechnics. Becoming the very first licensed pyrotechnic manufacturer in the Philippines in 1992, the initial 1 hectare facility has since grown to 8 hectares, now employing more than 300 employees.

Due to the Ã¢â‚¬Å“Philippine Fireworks LawÃ¢â‚¬Â, which prohibits the importation of fireworks into the Philippines, Dragon Fireworks endeavored to learn how to manufacture all kinds of fireworks and pyrotechnics. Unlike Chinese fireworks manufacturers that would typically specialize in a specific category of fireworks, the company had to learn to make all of these, something seldom seen in the world.

Dragon Fireworks is the largest fireworks manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer of professional display and consumer fireworks in the Philippines. From its humble beginnings in 1992, the company has grown to become the largest and only ISO 9001:2008 certified fireworks manufacturer in South East Asia. Dragon Fireworks is also the first company to be certified by the Department of Trade and Industry's Bureau of Product Standards as conforming to the Philippine National Standard.
